Public by default is the idea that my thinking and actions are by default open to the public, and if I want, I can take actions to hide them.
Public Writing by Default
This is based on my Action Potential Model, my Action Desire for sharing my writing is higher than the Action Potential for doing so, thus making me always postpone, delay and stop myself from "pulling the trigger" and "publishing" something. To combat this effect this solution offers a two pronged approach, I will increase the friction of not publishing and reduce the friction of publishing by shifting the default state to public, now "pulling the trigger" is making something hidden, private, instead of the opposite
